WHAT IS SUNDAY SUNDAY CELEBRATIONS?

It’s a way to host intimate gatherings with food and decor at Sunday Sunday — a photo-ready space.


THE STORY

Sunday Sunday started at a different location, somewhere east of here with great light, but sandwiched between townhomes and street parking. We were strictly photography then. When our lease ended there, Sunday Sunday almost closed along with it. But instead we moved to Main Street Markham.

We re-opened our studio last year at this landmark and iconic building, in the middle of a celebrated neighbourhood. This is a dream come true for us. Because the real dream has always been about people — the people in the photos, the artist behind the camera, and your friends and family.

We’re still primarily photography, but since then we’ve been able to welcome people into our space more actively — by hosting events, to gather, for community. And now we’re offering that option to you — a turnkey way to celebrate with your closest at Sunday Sunday.

This is our way of letting people experience people.

We make it easy for you to gather your friends and family to celebrate a milestone, a bride, a baby, or an otherwise small thing that doesn’t seem worth the effort.

How it works

We’re known for our beautiful space and easy going booking process. Let us help host your intimate celebration in the same way — beautifully and easily.

  3. We’ll reach out afterwards to confirm the details of your celebration, and send an invoice for the balance. You’ll get to review the details before you confirm. And if you change your mind, you’ll get a full refund within 7 days of booking.

    • On-site concierge to help set up, usher guests, keep entryway organized

    • Complimentary 30mins of setup/takedown time

    • Large frame or easel for signage

    • Up to 2 6ft table — seats up to 16 guests total (plus existing furniture can seat up to 20 guests total)

    • Up to 20 dining chairs

    • Smeg fridge for use inside the studio

    • Current studio setup (see Studio Views)

    • All studio amenities (individual washrooms, clothing rack, steamer, change table, speaker, etc.)

    • We’ll take care of setup and clean up, you’ll simply show up and leave with your friends when you’re done.

    • Maximum 20 guests

    Total value $460 — save $150 with this option.

    • Linens and specialty runner decorated with black bows

    • 2 serving boards and tongs per table

    • Porcelain plate per guest

    • Drinking glass per guest

    Includes:

    • An exclusive selection of coffee, matcha, and pastries from Commence Coffee.

    • You’ll get to choose from an exclusive menu of croissants, cookies, and scones. We’ll take care of the ordering and delivery.

  • $50/person

    Includes:

    • 2.5h event time and 30 mins setup/takedown time (total 3h)

    • On-site concierge to help set up, usher guests, keep entryway organized

    • Large frame or easel for signage

    • Up to 2-3 tables that can seat up to 20, complete with tablescape*

    • Up to 20 dining chairs

    • Smeg fridge for use inside the studio
