ARRIVAL

DIRECTIONS & PARKING

We’re at Unit 202 - 37 Main Street N. (aka Markham Main Street) in a brown building directly above T&T Bakery and Cho Kwok Lat cafe. If you’re arriving by car, we recommend turning in on Washington Street to access the parking lots behind the building. The signs that indicate a 30 minute parking time limit are not enforced.

ENTERING & LEAVING

BUILDING ENTRANCE - There are stairs that lead to the second floor at the front of the building, next to T&T Bakery. The door is unlocked during business hours. To access during after hours, press 0 2 7 3 7 on the number pad.

UNIT ENTRANCE - To enter, press 8 7 5 6 6 and then the Yale button on the number pad. When leaving, close the door and press the Yale button to lock. Please make sure the door is securely locked before you leave.

ACCESSIBILITY

We are located on the second floor of a historical building without elevator access. If we can assist in making our studio more accessible to you, please let us know.

ETIQUETTE

TIME

Any set up / tear down time must occur within your booked time. Additional time in the studio will be charged starting at $55 for the first 30 minutes, subject to availability. To make a same day overtime request, text OVERTIME to 416-568-9161 and wait for a reply.

NOISE

Please be respectful of our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum in the hallway and at a reasonable level inside the studio. Please keep the door closed. If you arrive early, kindly wait in the kitchenette area and keep the hallways clear.

SHOES

No outdoor shoes in the studio please. Remove your shoes upon entering and leave outdoor shoes on the shoe mat. Any indoor shoes worn in the studio must be first wiped clean with the wet wipes provided. We appreciate your help with keeping the studio clean for everyone (especially little ones!).

MOVING FURNITURE

You’re welcome to move items around in the studio, except:

Do not move the Smeg fridge.

Do not drag furniture.

Before you leave, please return all items to their original places. You’ll find markings on the floor indicating where furniture should be placed.

LIGHTING

The studio is primarily a natural light studio. Our windows are west facing, inviting sunlight that is generally soft in the mornings and turns golden in the afternoons.

We provide white roller shades to reduce light as needed, and dimmable LED lights suspended from the ceiling to add light as needed. No other lighting equipment is available. Please turn off lights before you go.

TEMPERATURE

Temperature in the studio is centrally controlled and automatically adjusted according to a sensor thermostat in the unit. If you experience discomfort, please let us know and we will do our best to improve the temperature.

WINDOWS

Please keep windows closed.

PRIVACY

We monitor the studio via video. Footage is reviewed only when required and deleted periodically. If you require privacy, for example, to change outfits, you’re welcome to use the shared washrooms outside of the unit while we work on installing a curtained-off area inside the studio. Thanks for your understanding.

AMENITIES

INTERNET

Wifi is available.

Connect to Sunday Sunday Guest and enter feelslikesunday.

MUSIC

Here are the instructions to connect to the Marshall speaker in the studio:

  1. Hold the ON/OFF button until a red light turns on.

  2. Press the SOURCE button to select Bluetooth.

  3. Press the PAIR button.

  4. On your device, search for STOCKWELL and connect via Bluetooth.

WASHROOM

Gender neutral washrooms are located outside of the unit, to your left when you exit the studio. To access a vacant washroom, punch in 0 2 7 3 7 on the number pad.

CLOTHING

A rollable rack and a handheld steamer are available for use. Please bring your own hangers.

KITCHENETTE

A kitchenette equipped with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher are located outside of the unit, to your left when you exit the studio.

POWER

Electrical outlets are installed at every corner of the studio. An extension cord is available by the entrance. USB outlets are available behind the desk. Please do not remove the power bar attached to the wall.

CLEANING SUPPLIES

Basic cleaning supplies like paper towels and wet wipes are available by the entrance.

BABY CHANGING

A change table is available by the entrance. Please use the plastic bags provided for dirty diapers and dispose them in the washrooms outside of the studio.
